My Passion for Communication

I have been an inconsistent person whole my life, be it with my studies or anything that I wanted to pursue. If I have to name only a thing  I have been persistent with is my willingness to improve my communication skills, be it verbal or writing. I remember as a high school kid writing love letters on behalf of my friends to the ones they had crush on. I can't actually turn my head around and count how many of them had their love reciprocated, but all I can remember is, my friends thanking me for impeccably  translating their emotions into words. During that process, I unconsciously developed a deep passion for writing.

As a growing kid, now unknown of the fact what actually influenced me, I always wanted to become a medico, a cosmetic surgeon to be precise. Maybe, fate had a different plans for me, that I bumped into a Pharmacy school, being unable to make a merit to go to a medical school. I was of course, not happy but, as everyone says, life had to go on. As the years progressed, I started being involved in various stage events and that is where I discovered my love for speaking. I started getting appreciation from the crowd which literally surprised me, a guy who always had inferiority complex (Well, I still do).

Now, in the mid of my mid-20s and 30s (do your math, to find my age), which is considered to be the crucial age for career progression, I still find myself confused with what I want to do with my life. I have been figuring out, but for now all I can say is I want to explore my abilities in the forms of communication. I am exploring my best to find my space in medical writing where I can merge my passion and profession. Meanwhile, also brushing up my oratory skills so that I can become a competent presenter or event host.

So, what is this blog going to be about? Well, for me, this blog is going to be a memoir, my personal journey. However, to sound politically correct, this blog is going to be my portfolio. I will be sharing my work, my experiences and learnings in the field of communication through this portal. I believe, there will be people (even few) who will be my companions in this journey of mine.

Regards.....
